The 2021 Ford F-150 and the highly anticipated 2021 Ford Bronco will both include Telenav connected navigation. This new feature of the next-generation SYNC 4 will make the off-road adventuring you’re bound to do around San Antonio less stressful by minimizing the chance that you’ll get lost.
Ford is working with Telenav to build hybrid navigation software and functions that will come as part of SYNC 4 with the 2021 Bronco and F-150. The hybrid system enables the system to store maps and data so it can direct you even when your excursion has taken you out of network range.
The offline map access isn’t the only feature Ford and Telenav are working to offer. The Telenav system will also include routes specifically designed for when you’re towing large loads. This elaborates on the 2021 F-150 model’s best-in-class available towing rating.
Telenav will enhance every off-road drive by pointing out the best routes for throwing around some dirt and mud. It will also have the potential to collect new information over time to make each trip more informed than the last one.
Telenav will be an available feature of SYNC® 4, which will come standard in both the 2021 Ford F-150 and Bronco. The F-150 will arrive later this year, while the Bronco will make its anticipated return in spring of 2021.
